Composite Bonding Methodology

Step 1-Preparing the Teeth

The first process involves cleaning and preparing the tooth's surface. We adhere to the strictest standards of cleanliness. Our dentist will initially prepare the tooth's surface. The tooth is meticulously cleansed and then treated with a gel that chemically roughens the surfaces. This substance roughens the tooth's surface to a microscopic level, allowing the composite to adhere well. Then, an adhesive bond is applied to the surface of the tooth. At Smile Hub Dental Clinic, we use an adhesive based on scientific evidence to ensure optimal results.

Step 2-Utilising Composite

The composite is then affixed to the surface of the tooth. We sculpt and form the composite to your tooth's desired size, shape, and contours using a variety of specialised instruments and brushes. Typically, these are applied in multiple layers to recreate natural tones. A unique light is employed to solidify the composite. Once all the composite has been applied, we use a series of refining instruments to refine the shape and ensure a high-gloss polish for the final product.
